Student Affairs

The main goal of any Higher Education Institution (HEI) is to make a student competent in all the spheres of education. To reach this goal, our institution provides necessary facilities to the students. The Student Services conducts various programmes to meet their needs. Orientation Programme for all the First year students on the reopening day of the college every year to introduce the college atmosphere to the freshers. Student Services also conducts Parent-Teacher meet every year. A committee headed by the Principal, consists of various faculties, senior and junior students is constituted to prevent ragging in the campus. Every year, a meeting will be conducted and the members of the committee will take adequate steps for ensuring zero ragging in the campus. Student Services assist the students to participate in various academic and cultural competitions conducted in other colleges. At the end of every academic year, Student Services receive the feedback report on the academic activities, facilities and examination pattern from all the final year students through a proforma, which is helpful in framing the syllabi. The final year students are also asked to evaluate the faculty of the concerned department. Grievances can be made online through the grievance form.

The management took an initiative to set up Students Support Services Cell under the student affair department from it's inception to cater specifically to the needs of the students on Soft Skills, Entrepreneurship and Counseling and to maintain the mental health of the students. The cell consists of one staff counselor from each of the departments to monitor the personal, academic, attendance and financial problems of the students in their respective department.

The Heads of the Department were solicited for the type of skills to be imparted to their students in the Soft Skill Training. Further, the Placement Officer trains the staff on the requirement of the curriculum as well as on the basis of placement expectations and career guidance.
