Quality and Policies
With the use of cutting-edge resources, students can delve into the subtleties of their subjects and access the most recent advancements in their fields. The faculty, including highly skilled and knowledgeable members, uses creative and efficient methods to generate the finest pupils who will be tomorrow’s top workers in their industries. The goals and objectives set by the college to raise the caliber of JAS have been accepted. In order to fulfill its aims and objectives, the college has implemented the following quality policy:
- Enhance the students’ graduation results such that a minimum of 50% of them are able to find work, pursue self-employment, or continue their study.
- Encourage students to become involved in society and industry by providing opportunities for at least two-thirds of them to participate in socially constructive activities while they are enrolled in classes.
- Teach students critical thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, professionalism, and other soft skills; cultivate human values and professional ethics; provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents; and train them in teamwork, communication, leadership, and time management, among other essential skills.
- Make certain that all teachers, to the fullest extent possible, are up-to-date on the most recent developments in their fields of expertise and the pedagogies that help students apply what they have learned.
- Must obtain NAAC certification by 2025–2026 with a minimum grade of “A+.”.
In order to achieve the aforementioned goals, the following actions were taken:
- Students’ orientation program.
- The University of Madras’ learning outcome-based curriculum system.
- For a successful teaching-learning process, use ICT-based learning aids.
- Soft talents that students need.
- Link the organization to the industry and social media. In order to foster knowledge sharing and the general social and economic advancement of the village communities, the institution must adopt a minimum of five villages.
- Exam Reforms: Put the notion to the test through exit, application, and test frequency examinations.
- Monitoring student advancement following course completion through the establishment of a robust Alumni Association.
- Mandatory leadership and management training for administrators, yearly refresher training for all instructors, and induction training for new teachers.
- Encouraging faculty to conduct high-quality research and generate new knowledge.
- Mentoring institutes that lack accreditation.
