JEPPIAAR College of Arts and Science, located at OMR, Padur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, was instituted in 2019 under the aegis of the Sivaraja Ramalingam Trust as a co-educational institution. Approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the University of Madras, the college is dedicated to fostering holistic higher education in alignment with the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms. The sponsoring trust, established with a philanthropic vision, has a legacy of serving society through education, with trustees possessing extensive experience and expertise in the field. This commitment drives the establishment of various institutions aimed at societal development, positioning JEPPIAAR College of Arts and Science as a beacon of excellence in arts, commerce, and science programs. 

The college embodies the visionary dream of its late founder, Late Col. Dr. Jeppiaar, who championed an enriching educational ecosystem that hones life skills, innate talents, and professional competencies. Nestled in a serene, salubrious environment away from Chennai’s urban frenzy, the sprawling campus features state-of-the-art infrastructure, including advanced laboratories, a well-stocked library, digital classrooms, and sports facilities, ensuring students engage with cutting-edge developments across disciplines. 

Currently, the college operates an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to uphold academic standards and is actively preparing for NAAC accreditation, targeting an A+ grade. Recognition under UGC Section 2(f) is under process, reflecting our pursuit of excellence and eligibility for central assistance. With a focus on inclusive growth, the college serves a diverse student body, promoting equity, sustainability, and global citizenship.
